You'd think it would be easier, finding the Natwest or Bank of England base rate, wouldn't you? Searching throws up a bunch of identical news stories about how it has or hasn't changed, and what the outlook may or may not be in the future. Even the
Wikipedia entry says what it is as a concept, rather than what it actually f@&king is.
